Natalie Pela is a North London-based yoga teacher who completed her training at Triyoga with leading teachers in 2013, and has been teaching ever since. She is certified by the British Wheel of Yoga. Over the years, she has taken inspiration from her studies with leading Iyengar yoga and Hatha yoga teachers. In 2015 she took her training in Restorative yoga with one of the UK's first teachers of the style, Anna Ashby, who she had assisted over the years and continues to study with. Her personal practice is a combination of alignment-based hatha and restorative yoga, often including some qi gong forms (movement, breath and energy practices), inspired by the teachings of one of her first teachers, Mimi Kuo Deemer.
Natalie is also a singer and voiceover artist. She loves to teach and share a yoga practice that helps to keep her grounded, connected and positive through life's changes and challenges. Having taught one-to-ones and groups all over london the last few years, as well as retreats in Spain, she loves tailoring the practice to the person or group in front of her.
Classes are taught with a strong focus on alignment. Natalie encourages her students to work into yoga postures with breath and awareness. Her attention to detail, clear instructions, and compassion when teaching, provide her students with the ideal environment to develop and deepen their yoga practice.
Natalie is committed to teaching yoga classes that are safe, enjoyable, challenging and fun, and that really make yoga accessible to all.
Options are given for different levels and also for those working with injuries or conditions.
